Should I think about moving ‘Tom’ into a bigger home? He seems happy enough? Any suggestions for a first time plant dad 😁

    i believe you should do up. there seems to be more roots than dirt, which could start to cause problems for ur plant

      Yeah that’s what I thought. He’s more roots than soil. I’ll get him a bigger home 🏡

    Definitely time to up size :) 2”-ish larger will be perfect. I’ve found my spider plants do really well root bound, until they don’t. And it seems to be a quick decline.

      I’ll get him a bigger home this weekend. He seems to be doing well, has a few babies growing

      I found when I’ve pushed it, then I end up loosing a bunch of lower leaves extremely quickly. Instead of doing it before it starts to show signs of decline due to being too root bound. Its the perfect time of year to repot. So you shouldn’t have any issues :)

    I would repot but only two inches bigger than the pot it’s been in. Good luck with Tom!
