Never had an air plant before. How do I water something that isn’t in a pot? Feels like a silly question but I don’t think I’m supposed to pull it off the stand!

Sydney7717Hey, they are supposed to just be for decoration, people who make these presentations don’t think about the plant surviving long. Eventually if you don’t want them to die you’ll have to pull them out, that’s what I did with all of mine, just be mindful of the hot glue, it breaks leaves if you pull them too fast. When you water them is with distilled, reverse osmosis or rain water ONLY no tap water at all and you can buy a liquid fertilizer to spray them with as directed by planta, water only by soaking for about 20 to 45min. Then take them out shake the excess water off carefully and sit them bottom up in a well ventilated room for about 1-3 hours to dry before you put them back on the display. jlsKenzy👍 with Sydney response. I'd also add...water every 7-10 days. You can also occasionally do a very, light misting in between watering.
