Just want to confirm- there is NO hope for this silver leaf right?

    Yeah that is very dead. If this was a recent thing, you can check to see if any roots are alive, but the entire top is gone. If you find live roots, give it a good watering and then don't water again until the soil looks dry; roots can send up new growth, but they don't use water very fast

    NO SO MANY PEOPLE THINK THIS but if you fertilize it cut off some very rotten roots it will revive
