   Trim it and get ready for pups to start forming around the base. Sometimes they’ll start growing between the leaves. Mine is still blooming but has 3-5 pups on the first 2 layers of leaves. The flower stalk will die and start rotting when it finishes up its last bloom and you don’t want the rot to spread to the plant before the pups grow large enough to separate. You typically want to let them grow to 1/3 the size of the mother plant before separating them
