Hi guys, I’m going to repot him later because I’ve only had him for about a month and recently noticed his roots- anyways can anyone help me figure out why there’s like spots on the leaves and then the one looks kind of yellow which it did look very overwatered a couple weeks ago so I trimmed the soggy yellow leaves off. I also don’t really know where to put him because I think the outside in full sun is too much. I have grow lights inside and I also have a window upstairs in my spare bedroom that would probably be good. Can any of you just give me any tips on getting him back healthy?? Thank you!!

Philos like to be slightly root bound so I would keep that in mind. Mine thrive on neglect so I only water when they tell me they need it so you could be dealing with an overwatering issue. I would let it dry out a bit more between waterings. Grow lights and a window would be an excellent idea!
