Okay I need help…. I like this plant, and it is putting out new growth every 2-3 weeks. But that being said I find once a new leave is visible then the oldest mature leaf starts to droop, wilts, then subsequently dies. The most she is able to handle is 2 mature leaves and 1 juvenile leaf. She is only watered when needed and she also is in east facing window (right on the window sill). Everything I see on line they should be a bunch of leaves… what am I doing wrong?

    Is it too cold? Have you tried a grow light? Does it like humidity?

    In my experience, it’s a lighting issue. If there’s not enough light, then they don’t have the energy to produce new leaves while also sustaining their older leaves, so they’ll let them die as a cost saving measure. Try moving your colocasia to a sunnier spot or giving it a grow light!

      Thanks I will try a grow light. I don’t think it is too cold, but then again I am not a plant.
