Hey, can anyone tell me how to help my jade plant?? It has this weird brown stuff all the way up the main stem… any ideas on how to help?!

    That’s a phenomenon called corking. Perfectly normal. It just means your plant is working on strengthening its stem to prepare for more leaves over time, so it can support itself upright instead of becoming too top-heavy and toppling over. It’s a very common sign of aging in a jade, and a good thing. Nothing to worry about. Hope this helps 😊

    If you want to make it more tree-like, keep pruning at the top so it doesn’t get taller. The trunk will keep growing thicker without the plant getting longer.
