Snowstorm
Anyone have tips for getting saffron crocus’ to bloom? They’re growing amazingly tall in containers in good draining soil, only 5 bulbs/containers, currently over wintering in my garage under a grow light for 16hr/day. (Squirrels and cold temps and extremely cloudy/windy days forced me to overwinter them) They’re like 12” tall but doesn’t seems to have any flower stems yet just the hair like leaves. Planted them at the end of Sept and they were outdoors for maybe 5weeks before going to overwinter in nov. there are also loads of sprouts from each bulb, I think I’ve counted like 50 ‘stems’ that have come up and unplanted 20 bulbs (& 1 bulb got stollen by a squirrel) This is my first time doing crocus’ so still a super noob.
