How do I keep away these little nats that are now in my house because of how many plants I have? I don’t think I want to get any plants that eat bugs though as my dogs might touch them and kill them.

    To prevent ants from entering your home via houseplants, try natural repellents like cinnamon, citrus, coffee grounds, or essential oils around the plant bases and soil, or use diatomaceous earth as a barrier

    I got the sticky traps to put in the soil to catch the adults, a UV/blue light sticky trap to attract them away from the plants and started using mosquito dunks in a large 15L water jug that I use to kill the larvae in the soil. That and bottom watering reallllly helped get rid of them.

      I have the sticky tape but they don’t work, I’ve caught nothing. I’ll have to try the dunks

      Dunks was what really turned the tide for me but you have to continuously use it. We only have mosquito dunks up in Canada but down in the US they’re called BTI drops, sooooo much easier to use, but it means you always have to use them in your water. Since we only have dunks I just set up a 15L water jug and I just refill it as needed and leave the dunk in til it melts completely, that way I always have anti-gnat water. Also the UV light really helped too. (If gross to look at)
