Hi! I am posting because I need help! I have recently potted a couple of cosmos and a few other variety of flower bulbs … a few days later I went out front to see majority of dirt is thrown out of each pot but bulbs have not been touched. In order to prevent what ever the heck is getting into my plants what should I do? The creature never touches any of my other bloomed plants

    Hardware cloth cut to the shape of the top of the pots, just slightly smaller than the rim so it can be wedged 1 or 2 cm down without reaching the soil. I had chipmunks do this last year... They also "planted" birdseed everywhere. I had sunflowers and buckwheat coming up in my herbs and tomatoes 🤣
