Just won this ✨ Calathea Roseopicta ✨ at plant bingo yesterday! Did some quick research and, NGL, she seems like a DIVA 😅 would love any tips and tricks to keep her happy from the start in her new home 🪴🏡 humidity and light seem to be primary concern. Appreciate ANY advice this community can share, I’m good with Succulents but less so with leafy plants. Thx!
I just threw out a Calathea Velvet Jungle. Different but I think calatheas are divas!! Light. Humidity. Distilled water. I wasn’t giving it the life it needed but I do think these things are needed.
いいね 1件 Sorry you lost her to the garden in the sky. That’s good intel — distilled water seems to be a big one for these as well. Put in my bathroom to keep humid and warm for now so hope that helps too 🙏

いいね 1件 UPDATE: SHE IS NOT DOING WELL 😭 help?! Moved to more bright indirect light. Pruned the worst crispies. Only using distilled, in bathroom so getting lots of humidity. Def gave her a sunburn in previous location. Any chance of recover?
