Hello. What liquid fertilizer do you all recommend? I have a few pothos, snake plants, carnivorous plant, cactus, a few philodendron.

    Do not give the carnivorous plants fetilizer

      Well according to this app, you should use plant fertilizer but specifically for carnivorous plants. When my pitchers were starting to turn brown despite misting them daily and being hydroponic, that’s what this app suggested, and so far, no more brown pitchers

    The liquid fertilizer from Home Depot is pretty good! There’s one for indoor house plants and another specifically for cactus. I like to dilute it and mix it with their water, and I fertilize regularly. There’s also Jobes fertilizer sticks (I found them at the dollar store!) and they have been amazing on my leafy plants! Fertilizers will give you a set of numbers like this: 20-20-20 (for example) it’s the amount of nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium in any given fertilizer. Diffrent plants have different needs, for example Nitrogen is great to stimulate new leaf growth BUT it can slow down any flower growth. The general liquid fertilizers are a great place to start fertilizing!

      Also, yeah, carnivorous plants don’t like extra chemicals. I once gave my Venus fly trap tap water instead of distilled water and she died on me. 😅 best of luck!!

    I have used Purived for the last year on everything (not carnivorous!!) and i’ve only ever bought 1 bottle. it’s not even half empty. otherwise Plant Focus/Foliage Focus is also great!
