What do I do with this random long root? It came like this Remember I’m the clueless newbie here 🫣so any and all help is appreciated

    Random long roots are common on phals. They like having some roots exposed to air, but the long ones tend to dehydrate more easily than most (you can see the tip on yours is already wrinkling.) To keep it happy, mist that root daily or every other day, and give it an occasional 20 minute bottom watering if it gets wrinkly. (Remember to keep water out of the crown and make sure it all drains and dries after any soaking session.) Keeping it in humid conditions can also help keep aerial roots from dehydrating. Don't worry if it bumps on something and breaks; it can hang on half-connected and won't be too bad if it dies off

    THIS IS VERY COMMON please repotted it into a bigger space covering it with soil and fertilizer using beets or berries
