I’m going on a trip, I leave Sunday and I will be back four days later. Does anybody have any tips/recommendations for my plants? I don’t feel it’s necessary to get a plant sitter, since I’m only gone for a little bit, but my plans have been thriving, and I don’t want to cause any harm to them. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you!!
Most plants do well being unwatered for at least a week. If you have plants in smaller pots that do tend to dry out before 4 days then you could always place the thirsty ones in a dish of water.

I would say unless they are expecting a watering while you were gone you have nothing to worry about. Even then in my opinion I would rather water them a few days late unless they’re completely dry the day you leave The other thing I’d suggest is set your thermostat on auto if it’s hot in your area.

Also less light = less water used.

For plants that like water & humidity: I like to give some water, maybe mist, and then put a clear plastic bag over my plants. It helps keep the humidity in but also lets sun still come through

좋아요 1개My one succulent shot up, and grew so much. I was trying to water propagate my string of dolphins and it grew mold.. so I’m not sure what happened there. Some of my others plants looked a little droopy but after I watered them they looked a lot better
