Hey all! I’m relatively new at plant care and am just wondering about repotting. I bought the soil ninja base mix. I’m just wondering if this is okay for most of my plants, I understand probably not for succulents. Just wondering because I don’t have loads of money to spare for different options 🙈 thank you so much!!
I’m sure it’ll be fine! I think when you’re newer at plant care it’s actually good to keep it simple. Most houseplants will survive and you’ll learn what works for you as you go. Best advice I got that I’ll share is that one of the best things you can buy is a bag of perlite. (Usually about $10) Then, you can add it to just about any soil to make that soil drain faster or have better aeration. I’ve done a 50/50 mix with regular soil and perlite and my succulents are liking it.

Could my ginseng ficus benefit from using this 50/50 perlite mix?
