Grow lights! I’m a beginner with plants and live in (not so) sunny Scotland, what is everyone’s thoughts on grow lights? Is there a particular one I should get or does the one in the picture look ok from Amazon? Any tips or tricks welcome, thanks! 🌱🤩
I’ve used those and find that they aren’t the greatest. Basically limped my plants through winter. I bought a set of Sansi lights and have been EXTREMELY impressed with them. But they are a bit more expensive. Personally, for the moderate increase in price, its definitely worth it. I know others will have great brand suggestions as well!

I'm not a huge fan of arm lights like those. They keep plants alive and that's about it. LBW is my go to brand. I have 3 of the large tripods and one medium dual-head tripod. They're super adjustable in both height and light direction, they have a timer and a dimmer, and they don't make my wallet cry when I expand my collection and need more lights lol. Most importantly, my plants are growing great under them!

1 likeIt all depends on how many plants you are looking to light up in my opinion. Sansi is an incredible brand at a great price. Amazon is having a great sale on them right now actually; I bought two extras just to have lol

I bought these ones about a month ago & I have seen MAJOR improvement from my plants (I don’t take progress pictures the way I’m supposed to ugh I need to be better lol) but even if they only last me till the end of winter, they did their job in my opinion.
I have this one, I like it, I also like ring lights, I have some panel ones as well but the timer isn’t correct so it turns on earlier every day which is terrible but it’s fine they work. The ring likes I have are amazing I got them on Amazon

0 likes I use the lordem and yadoker lights from amazon the small ones run about 8 bucks and the larger ones about 15 I LOVE THEM I’ve propagated my plants from bulb with them and they are amazing. They also dim and have a timer.

0 likes You can also adjust when you want them to turn on just turn it on and set the time when you want it on.
0 likesI use this grow light. I have the majority of my plants under it and they are doing fine. This is my first winter using them but I'm thinking if they did fine over the summer why shouldn't they during the winter?
