Hi! I just got a syngonium pixie today and the pot was way too large for it so I repotted it in this pot I had. I’ve never used this kind of pot where it soaks up the water. Do you think this pot is suitable for a syngonium? Or should I save this pot for a different plant?
It’s a self watering planter. It’s a terracotta pot inside another pot. I’ve tried them from D’vine on Amazon. I tried an alocasia and a syngonium. After just one week I had to take them out because the soil was always too wet. Maybe I was doing something wrong. I reached out to the company and never got a response. I ended returning them.
1 mi piace I was thinking that might happen… did any of your leaves start to yellow? Or you just realized the soil was staying wet for too long?

I love my self watering pot for my syngonium. I let the reservoir empty and dry out a bit before I refill it to make sure the soil has a chance to dry out
