Hey guys!! I recently got rid of my monstera (decided my apartment didn't have enough light and I can't afford a nice frow light set up) and I have this rinky dinky lil grow light just laying around from it. I put it on my philo, will this set up even work? I wanted to put it on my climbing golden pothos but I don't have an outlet in that window. This philo pictured here is hanging in the window sill with slightly less light. Will putting the grow light above it as well help with anything?

    Now I’m not a true expert but even without the grow light I think that plant would be fine in that space! It might not be the fastest grower, but she’ll live!!! Also, I think if you put that grow light on top you might have less draping/hanging vines come off because the plant will want to grow up (: here’s my credentials haha

    Why not try it? Yes, it’ll help it grow probably a little better than with just the light from the window. Bonus: with coming darker days (winter) your plant will continue to grow steadily instead of slowing down since it’ll be getting more light.
