Hey! Ive had this raspberry flame violet (pls correct me if I’m wrong) for a couple months now. It started off very thin and not much foliage but I’ve noticed the last couple weeks it’s nearly tripled in leaf count. I’m curious if anyone knows when this plant blooms flowers. Given the recent growth I’d want to estimated it probably will by summer (maybe 2-4 months from now?). Also any tips for health or how to help this flower would be really appreciated.
Yes it is a raspberry flame violet But I don’t know the rest sorry and here are some facts about them Water moderately to keep the soil moist in the summer and seldom in the winter. They need high humidity but do not tolerate water on their leaves. They do well in a greenhouse setting or terrariums also.

Hiiigh humidity for this one like Plant Mom said. The small leaves were from low light and all the increased growth is a result of more. I would bet this blooms in the Fall/Winter but I’m not sure. With inconsistent conditions it might not flower the first year.
2개 좋아요 Yea I’m in New York so we don’t get a lot of sunny days for like half of the year lol (hence the tiny leaves I guess). I’m hoping it stays on this growth track because I’m really happy with the progress I’ve seen in the spring compared to winter months. Thanks for the insight!

I started using this fertilizer, it’s good for literally any plant and my red Maranta is starting to bloom! I think it’s because I’m using this.
