My mom was gifted this beautiful arrangement for my sweet late grandmother's service. She wants to eventually repot them into their own containers. They seem to be doing great so far and her Peace Lily even has some blooms (can't see in this picture). She's afraid that some might die if not repotted correctly. Any advice on when she should do that and how she would go about separating them? Should they be kept together? Are they fine for now? Thanks in advance!
In my experience a lot of plants that are potted together for asthetics have completely different watering schedules. Those are all gorgeous but I would repot them individually as quickly as possible to minimize root loss due to entanglement.
4개 좋아요I was worried about their roots growing into each other too! I'll let her know, thank you! Any advice doing so? I believe there's about six different plants mixed in here, so probably a lot of research seeing what pot size and conditions they prefer. 🥴

yea pothos, peace lilies, and the dieffenbacha, and prayer plant?(it might be a calathea idk) have different watering schedules i would definitely repot
좋아요 1개 I think what is identified as a pathos is actually a heart leaf philodendron (green vining plant in the front)

좋아요 1개 I’m pretty sure the tall spiky plant is a Song of India.
좋아요 1개 The yellow and green leaves are a variegated croton. And the similar one with red light and dark green does appear to be a prayer plant.
좋아요 1개 I *think* the large leafy one with light green in the middle and dark green on the edges is a Chinese evergreen. It could also be a dieffenbachia but I would need a better view of the leaves. My first guess is the evergreen though.
