I recently saw a few different people saying that Alocasias thrive being planted in water. And since plants in water are way easier, I was like lemme give it a try! I planted this in water two weeks ago and there is ALREADY the tiniest little new growth 🥹🥹🥹 PUMPED.
I just moved my Polly to LECA a few weeks ago! I only lost 1 of my 4 leaves, so not too bad lol. I did have to cut off all of the original soil roots because they got soft really fast, but once I did, the water roots started coming in super quick!
1 likeMy Golden Bone LOVES water. The only reason I want to put her in soil is because I want her to grow corns! She’s been in water since I got her. My newest leaf. The leaves get bigger with each one that grows. 💚
I bought her as a plug at the end of Nov ‘23.
