Any tips for water drainage on a boho-style macrame hung plant that has a built in (but TINY) catch dish attached to the bottom? My poor nerve plant is wilting away because I've been unsure of how to approach the issue without causing a big old mess of water and dirty macrame. I did water it today (bone dry) and it was a mess. Hopefully not too far gone but the issue of the hanging pots like this is definitely making me second guess these hangers.

I always have to take my plant out of the macrame and water then once the bottom is dripping I’ll put it back. You may have to change pots, maybe use that pot, but put the plant in a nursery pot to allow foe more drainage

You can put the whole pot in a clear plastic saucer, maybe a deeper one, for auxiliary drainage. It's not the most attractive look but if you size it right it isn't too noticeable
