Wolfen 🐺It could be a humidity/water issue. These like bright light and to stay a bit damp. They love humidity and hate the cold, being tropical.

Are you letting it dry out between watering?

it's in our bathroom so it stays pretty humid, i water it every 2-3 days, as soon as i notice the tiniest bit of leaf drooping. it's in a south facing window which i guess could be a little drafty.

i guess the leaves don't really brown, they more yellow before crisping and turning brown. should i try spraying it down for any possible pests?

Are they yellowing along the edges? Usually that's overwatering.... or is it kinda all over, possibly with a stippling pattern, that could be pests. Sometimes the mites and thrips are so hard to see. I ended up buying a little Bluetooth microscope that connects to my phone off Amazon 😆
