I just repotted all 5 of my plants. đŸȘŽ My question is do I water them now or wait until the scheduled watering in 2 days? My soil tester says alls good water wise so just wondering. I don’t want to overwater.

    If the calathea is more than 30% dry it might be good to water that one since they’re more sensitive to it, but I would personally try waiting until it’s time to do their normal watering for the others.

    Just for future reference- after lots of learning the hard way- I personally find it’s helpful to wait to repot until it’s also time to water. I like to first water thoroughly and wait 30 minutes for the soil to really loosen and for the roots to become softer/less likely to break. Then I repot and water thoroughly again. After that it’s just the normal watering schedule.

    Thanks! That’s smart advice. I am new to being a plant parent and really want to keep my babies alive. I appreciate any and all advice. 😄

    I've always been told you should water in your plants after replanting, but I don't think that is a universal thing. I've mostly seen it for herb and vegetable or citrus fruit gardening. I repoted my apricot and kumquat trees after purchase and watered them thoroughly even though I know they had been watered with a drip system at the nursery.
