🌧️ So it’s been raining in my area off and on for several days… 🌧️ I’m also in the process of bringing houseplants inside for fall/winter. It occurred to me - is during/just after heavy rainfall a good time to bring plants indoors, because many pests will be washed away/can’t stand 100% humidity? Bringing bugs inside is my biggest fear during this process. 🪰😣🐜
I got a spider mite infestation without any of my plants going outside. I also somehow managed to get a caterpillar problem in a plant while on vacation and I have no idea how the heck a caterpillar got inside. But I would absolutely keep and eye out for pests for a few weeks

1 j'aime Yeah I came back to my beautiful spider plant covered in poop and holes. 😭 I still haven’t found it either! I blasted the plant with a water hose to clean the poo so I’m hoping it blew the caterpillar off with it.
