I have a question about fertilizer.. Planta is saying I’ll need to start using fertilizer soon for my plants, so I’m wondering what kind (?) I’ll need and how often my plants would need it. What do you guys use? Also, is there a way that I can make homemade fertilizer? Any help is appreciated!
Really most organic fertilizers work well, just get organic natural. The Arber brand is really nice but very expensive, good luck 🍀

There’s 2 different kinds of fertilizer, slow release and water soluble. For slow release I use osmocote pellets, you just sprinkle them on the soil and water normally. There are lots of good water soluble fertilizers like clean kelp by bloom city, super thrive, foliage pro and fox farms. Fox farms has a big selection of fertilizers for all different needs.
0 Mi piaceFrom Jerry Baker book: 1 tbsp fish emulsion 4 tsp instant tea granules 1/2 tsp dishwashing liquid 1 gallon warm water I’ve used this mixture for many years on my house plants. My cat goes crazy trying to find the odor….it does smell fishy at first, but the odor dissipates within a few minutes. My plants have thrived on this solution.
