Hello everyone! I have a question on this plant. I have never had a bromeliad before so this is the one I am learning from. I’ve had it for about two months and now the flower has little shoots coming out. What is happening and what do I do with them? I haven’t been able to find any good tips on this one.

Since we’re talking about bromeliads… after this plant flowers, can it flower again? I’ve read mixed information about whether or not they even continue to live after flowering. I’ve had one for about a year that had already lost its flower when I received it. Very rarely it puts out a new leaf.
0개 좋아요 I read that same thing. The plant looks very healthy so I hope it doesn’t die. Too bad there isn’t a group for this type of plant. They do act a little different.

Girlfriend bought this one 9 years ago while in flowering. So I took it over. Re potted. Moved to a better suited location. Fed and watered all per Planta. It’s thriving and bloomed. 9 years old.
Same plant. Pot set below the horizon of the koi pond. Wanted a reflection.
Thank you for the information! I was thinking about repotting it since it is still in the pot from the store. I’m excited to see what happens!
