I’ve been trying to grow a rosemary branch from the store, but every time I try, it dies. Is it raised to not be able to grow, or am I doing it wrong. All I do it put it in a cup with water. Help?

    Might be better to first let it dry/recover for 24-48 hours then insert into 2" or 3.5" pot and simply keep it moist but overall don't touch it or probe and water only very slightly when surface is dry

    Rosemaries are notoriously difficult to grow. You’re not alone. Two of mine withered away before i even got the chance to prepare for cooking with it

    Most herbs and ginger, etc are sprayed with inhibitors. Especially if they aren't organic. You also have to take into account length of time between when it was cut, then pkgd, then sent to the store. You're better off just buying a small starter plant or seeds
