If ur variegated plants keep pushing out white leaves, cut it back to the last node to reset the plant! These white leaves are parasitic and do nothing for the plant but steal energy coming from the green leaves. Due to the lack of chlorophyll, the plant cannot photosynthesize thus leading to decline!
Unless you regularly feed your plants with liquid plant silica. It feeds the white and allows the green to continue to photosynthesize. And actually chopping a lot of the white off down to where the nodes are can actually increase the vagration that's actually how you get vagration to restart in the plant. If you leave the plant in a darker area the whites will not come in nearly as much and it will revert into its green again
