Hello, I was wondering if anyone knew what type of butterwort this is. When it flowers it has a purple flower. I know it isn’t gigantea because it goes into a succulent fade over winter too.

Hiya! Im fairly new to carnivorous plants. I have a venus fly trap that is absolutely thriving and has a few flower stems about to pop. I've just noticed this in the soil and wondering if any clues what it could be and if I need to remove it from the pot. This is still in nursery pot and ive had for about 6months or more

I just got myself 2 Venus fly traps. I’ve heard the bottom of their draining pot it came it could live in water because they are swampy plants. Is that something I should do is put the bottom in distilled water? Or should I just make sure the soil stays damp and leave the pots out of water? Thanks in advance

So im a newish plant daddy, ive been really focusing on my carnivorous plants bc they’re secretly my favorite. But i was wondering when would be a good time to repot them bc i dont want to stress them too much by repotting bc the pots that are the next size up from the current pots is like 3 inches in diameter and roughly 3in deep

Got this pitcher plant three days ago and all the pitchers were fine. Put it in a box with some other of my plants and now they’re starting to turn black. What could be the cause of this?

Propagate or nah? My pitcher plant is overdue for a repot and I noticed these babies growing underneath. Should I use this as a chance to propagate this plant? Or should I keep them together?

Germinating 6 other mixed nepenthes seeds but this is the first one with coconut coir.

When is the best time to divide a pinguicula? I bought this one, so I could divide it and give one to my brother. I'm a bit confused on when one can divide a ping.

Any reason my black miracle is doing as good as my other carnivorous plants it’s in the same stop as my other pitcher plant but as just been declining since I’ve got it while the other one is thriving

My mixed nepenthe seeds are popping up. Only thing is I don’t know if they are actually nepenthes. If they’re not please tell me.

I got this ping "pirouette" last spring. It's been doing well under a grow light and I be been mostly following plantas schedule for watering. (I watered a bit more often on ver the winter than the app suggested since my house was SO dry and I didn't want the soil to dry out completely.) This is how it's looking now. Is this normal?

I noticed all of my Planta pings care schedules have essentially gone rogue. No misting, no watering, no attention for a month or a year? Nothing about that is right. Anyone else dealing with this drastic care switch? I haven’t missed any tasks and haven’t updated any of their data. Just wanted to check here first before reaching out to Planta.

It took awhile but this one is back to full health after shipping. Moved from under a grow light to this window sill. We will see how she does!

So I just got her and have two questions, is she was pkanta told me(a wayetii) and are these spots normal or indicative of a bug or fungus? She's only my third hoya and the other two seem to have done nothing for two years 😂
