This may be a long shot...... Anyone know where I could buy a cool carnivorous plant in store in SW Missouri? One that's not set up for failure already but not to expensive? There may not be one but I thought I would check...

Hey yâall! Iâve never had a carnivorous plant before but I really want to add some to my collection! Any recommendations for a first plant, or tips for keeping it alive? Thank you!
Hey all! How do you know when a VFT is ready to eat a fly? I know they donât need food often, but donât want to underfeed him either. And how do you catch flies?? đđ
My poor Venus Fly Trap. It was tiny to begin with. Now its down to 2 traps and kne of those just died today. I already changed the pot because I thought the other may have been too small; plastic, 3 in, with drainage. Any other suggestions on how I could save it?
Hey, new to growing plants in general but I thought I'd try growing some fly traps for my apartment. Does anyone have any helpful advice? Like do's and don'ts? Recommended equipment or just helpful advice?
I was worried about having these indoors, but they've been doing great under the brighter growlights and west window
The tinest flowers
Does Anyone know what this white mold on my Venus fly traps soil(peat moss and perlite) mixture. How do you get rid of it.
New to this wonderful group, I would like to introduce Nephi and Nini! đđ»đ±
Does anyone know why my sundewsâ newer leaves are bunching together at the ends like this? Iâm worried somethingâs wrong with them
Nepenthes Maxima x Sanguinea âRedâ is an exceptional hybrid by California Carnivores. Massive pitchers with a deep crimson peristome and speckled interior. A standout in my collection
How often should I manually feed my Venus flytrap? Iâve got a nutrient spray and little pellets coming in for it.
Help! I forgot my Venus fly trap outside last night (Iâm acclimating it at the moment) and it got down to 2 degrees Celsius. Will he be ok? Iâve brought him inside this morning. Thanks!
My husband really wanted one of these, and Iâm quite nervous about her care because sheâs sooooo different from my other house plants. First pic is Sunday when I got her, second is today. So far so goodâŠlol! She has a fair bit of roots peeking out of the bottom. Can I leave her be for a while, though?
I'm hoping someone can give the words to use when I ask for a refund. This drosera capensis arrived yesterday in the condition you see in the plastic wrap. The other pictures were taken just now, about 28 hours after planting into carnivorous soil with sphagnum on top. I sent the first pic to the seller yesterday to ask if it was alive and he sent me instructions for what to do if I forget to water it. So I asked again and he told me to send him a picture of the roots but his instructions very explicitly said NOT to remove the soil around the roots. I'm waiting for him to verify that sending him a picture of the roots won't kill my chances of getting a refund. What should I say? Obviously, this is not acceptable. Thanks for your help.
I recently bought two VFTs and starting to notice some white stuff near the roots and inner vines also some black on the traps themselves, what am I doing wrong? Or what do I need to do?
Pinguicula âLovespellâ is a massive Mexican butterwort, a hybrid of Gigantea x Laueana. Itâs covered in sparkly dew that lures in their insect prey đș
say hi to Octo the cape sundew!
Dead? I got this little sarracenia a while back and it just keeps getting worse. Can I save it and if so how?
If anyone is interested, the Bay Area Carnivorous Plant Society is hosting its annual show and sale on June 14th, which is one of the biggest if not the biggest carnivorous plant show in the United States. Iâve gone before and itâs awesome!
