Hello everyone! I'm planning on getting a pitcher plant or two, I'm thinking one will be a hanging and another will be a trumpet. Since it's finally starting to warm up where I live, it's the perfect time for me to get my first carnivorous, but I'm curious about the care, any tips?
This was my sundew before it turned brown and I had to prune it. Roots are intact and I watered it right after this picture was taken. I don’t see any green so I was wondering is my plant dead or can I bring it back? Will it grow back? I’m so attached to my plants specially this one since it’s the one I’ve had the longest :( I really want my plant to be healthy. Any tips and recommendations will help. Thank you guys ❣️
My dewy pine is finally flowering, I’m loving the flowers for sure.
Moved recently and had to part with my 10+ year-old Nepenthes. Just picked up these guys on a whim and the only species data lists generic hybrid of Nepenthes. Anyone have some good guidance on differentiating lowland vs highland Nepenthes based just on leaves? I'm imagining it may be far too early to tell, but figured I'd check in just in case.

Planted some Dionaea m. “Triangular Teeth” on April 12th from #CaliforniaCarnivores. Ended up also ordering 4 other sets of seeds so those will be coming in later lol these will grow sooner so consider these the older brothers/sisters of the rest of them.

I just got this little goober, any tips on how to take care of him? I have never owned any carnivorous plants before and know this is a stretch in my ability to keep plants alive. I know they like rainwater/distilled water, need tons of humidity and lots of light. Anything helps!
Just got my first Venus Flytrap!
So I have this nepenthes.. no idea of the exact variety, he’s grown a ton in the past few months but won’t develop any more pitchers. Does anyone know why they do this? Also if you know the variety that’d be awesome. There are pictures of the tiny pitchers in the plant tag.

I’m about to try to germinate some sundew plants. I own a Venus fly trap and a sarracenia currently. These are the tips the supplier gave, any other suggestions?
