Sarracenia jonesii my love! Just waiting for the dormancy to set it

Hey just wondering what do you guys do when you get a new baby carnivorous plant in fall that needs dormancy. Personally I like to let it do its thing and go into a soft dormancy due to lack of light. Then the next year I put it in a colder area for full dormancy. The light is a bigger contributor anyway. I find this gives it time to develop a little more without too much shock.

Venus Fly traps! I've always been fascinated with Venus fly traps! The first I got came from lowes and was on its Last leg, but I gave it tap water not distilled and it quickly died. Secondly I bought a seed staring kit and used distilled water and took very good care of it, yet they never came up. Long story short where can I get good cheap Venus fly traps or cool carnivorous plants? It's oki if they need a little help but I don't want them to die!!! And ofc the cheaper the better! I would also be up for seed staring kits if they actually come up ๐! THANKS!!

I just put my Alata in this hanger and removed the Velcro from the stick. Iโm hoping that the string will be enough support without the stick. What do you think? ๐ค

Do nepenthes have a winter dormancy? I didnโt think this type did, but many of their pitchers are dying at once (on both plants). I havenโt changed anything to do with their care.

What's growing in my pot? ps Due to potting it a little low, getting full sun is not really possible. This is all grow light. pps I still haven't clipped the flower.
