The app is telling me I have my nepenthes gaya in too bright of light. In my understanding they love direct sunlight (south facing window) and most issues come from not enough light. Iād say itās been doing great for the few months Iāve had it. Just curious why the app would tell me that? š§

I feel like something is wrong Iāll clips off the black ends but then the whole plant comes out of the dirt so Iām thinking about just switching it up to full sphagnum one fiber moss

nepenthes ramispina x robcantleyi. each pic was taken three days apart, starting our red with a striped peristome when it popped, and now a very dark almost black pitcher š¤ I hope everyoneās perennial carnivores are coming out of dormancy happy and healthy!

So excited for the new heads that are forming š„ŗ. My plant looks rough but is coming out of dormancy and I took away all the dead leaves and heads. I will be repotting it once this cold front comes through in the next few days.

So Iāve been away for a while and my friend looked after my VFT, on return itās started to grow two flower stems - what does everyone do cut them off or leave them? Also my leaves have always been droopy but the plant seems to be thriving - is this normal?
