I fed my Venus flytrap a big fly and it was about a week before my Venus flytrap opened like this. It’s been only half open like this for 4 days. The trigger hairs don’t work to close it again. What should I do

DanishGrammaIt’s ok to leave it alone, this sort of thing happens in the wild and it’s fine. Flytraps are pretty resilient and can live without a trap working right. They don’t digest the exoskeleton either so it’s normal to still see it in there. 😊

F. T. ScruggsMy Venus Flytrap mouths closed after eating some small annoying gnats. They used to hover around the other plants but I suppose Vinny has solved that problem
