Fullajoy365I have a Venus Fly Trap but it looks nothing like that beautiful one you have! Mine is small and limp with occurred two days after I brought it home grim the store. May I ask where you obtained yours, please? Maybe I shouldn’t have bought mine at Home Depot. I’m noticing a lot of plants from HD look great in the store but when I get them home they are awful after a couple days.

I got mine from American plant, it was $11. I don’t know how that compares to other stores. I’ve only had it for a couple hours but I hope it continues to live a happy life. I’m sorry yours didn’t survive.

Lucky for me I found this app and have two other Venus Fly Traps to work with. I was feeding from a tray but I was not using distilled water so that might be why one didn’t survive. I actually like yours better because it seems quite green with big (compared to mine) traps. Mine are small and on very thin stems and very fragile. Hopefully, I can get them to grow more robust. Does yours have a specific name? I have no idea if these have different kinds like other plants do. Yours looks so awesome! I hope it lives a very long time with you. 😊
