Predator plant lover

Though it looks unrecognizable this is a North American pitcher plant I found at Zamzows yester it had tons of brown leafs on it after cutting them I put it outside and watered it with distilled water and it still looks bad how can I help it get better ps I live in Idaho and it’s summer I don’t have lots of money for expensive remedies

    they're pretty simple. give it some shade for the first few days it sits outside, then it can have full sun. lots of healthy pitchers, it'll be just fine in a week or two

      Thank you I’ve been keeping him inside and he is no longer burning

    It's also possible that he's to big for his pot I had to repot mine and its doing much better.
