Google says I'm supposed to let my Venus flytrap sit in a tray of water? Always.. would it be better to have it semi-hydro and some LECA ? Or is it fine in its little pot

    Just sent a big ol lengthy reply in your other comment thread, but TLDR I think you should! It shouldn’t be more than halfway up the pot IMO, but I also killed my VFT this winter. 😓 If you’re hesitant to put it in a tray, just make sure you keep it very moist!

    I keep all my carnivorous plants in 1/3 of distilled water always.
