Iām needing to repot my pitcher plant, but I was told regular potting soil is not good for them. I found this on Amazon. Has anyone used this or have a better idea of what to use?

eatyacarbscarnivorous plants like āpoor soilā ā sphagnum moss works, and iām sure there some of that in here (looks like hamster bedding doesnāt it??) iām sure this would be good, but if straight sphag moss is cheaper, do that š¤·

I have some of the moss, so just plant it in just that?!

Predator plant loverJust get some plant mix make sure itās carnivorous and see how it works

RyanThe best way to do it would to get some good sphagnum moss and mix it up with perlite at a 1:1 ratio. If you want to buy a pre-mixed soil, california carnivores and carnivero have the best stuff. If you look at mixes on amazon youāll find peat and perlite which isnāt suitable for a nepenthes (pitcher plant).

Thank you all for the advise. Itās been a while since I posted this and I hadnāt done anything yet. Carl is inside now in a west facing window and still doing great. Iām afraid to repot him since heās doing so good.
