Hey, new to growing plants in general but I thought I'd try growing some fly traps for my apartment. Does anyone have any helpful advice? Like do's and don'ts? Recommended equipment or just helpful advice?

    I’m in zone 8. Mine live outside in the spring summer and fall. In the garage in the winter for dormancy. So idk about indoors. Use only distilled, RO, or rain water. Keep in a tray of water. No clay pots. Hopefully someone more experienced will have indoor advice.

    Yes to keep in a tray of water and only RO, distilled, or rain water. It needs bright, constant sun. If you have a very sunny window that will work

    Okay awesome. I'm a little behind here though, what is RO? And also why no clay pots?

    idk about ro water but clay pots are porous so they will dry out the soil a lot faster I think
