Help! Not sure why my venus flytrap dies off so quickly, it's sitting in a windowsill and I keep it wet. What am I missing??

    Are you using distilled or reverse osmosis water? That seems like it could be the issue, but if not it also needs more light and probably a different soil.

    First of all it's in a glass pot. It should be in a plastic pot the soil needs to be 50/50 perlite and peat moss, leaving it in a window sill is basically cooking the leaves. Might as well use a magnifying glass. The sunlight coming through is frying it. You have to repot it asap and use a small tall plastic pot. And water tray. If you have to put it in the windows then close the blinds and let it get filtered light.
