Hey just wondering what do you guys do when you get a new baby carnivorous plant in fall that needs dormancy. Personally I like to let it do its thing and go into a soft dormancy due to lack of light. Then the next year I put it in a colder area for full dormancy. The light is a bigger contributor anyway. I find this gives it time to develop a little more without too much shock.

    Depending on the species, the either go in a corner or into the garage

    If it’s to cold put it in the fridge or warm

      I get too much anxiety to put it in the fridge so when i upgrade my plant to full dormancy I like to put it in the downstairs window where it gets quite cold.
