My venus fly trap isnt doing so well. It's lived nearly a year but now it has black traps and looking very sorry for itself. I have also noticed these tiny silver looking jumping bugs on it. Not sure if that's related. And tips and advice is much welcomed

1 LikeWhat's thrips and how do i get rid? I did submerge my entire plant today and they all floated to the top of the water. That did seem to help because Ive not seen any movement on the plant since but i will keep my eye on it over the coming days

They could have also been springtails. They’re not harmful, but they show up when there’s moist soil and decaying plant matter.
