     Just that no soil? I'm trying not to kill this one, but we haven't had much success (it's my son's plant and he really enjoys them).

   For carnivorous plants, I do 50/50 sphagnum moss and perlite – no soil or anything else. I also only water them with distilled water.

     Good to know! I need to get to the store tomorrow for supplies. My flytrap is sending out shoots after a few days under a grow light/outside. Hopefully that's a sign it's coming back this time.

   I just got a special soil and transplanted mine. I can try to remember to tell you if it dies or thrives 😂 I got the plant from Walmart and it wasn’t looking very happy in the teeny tiny cup with an ounce of dirt.
