I’m brand new to carnivorous plants and was watering my pitcher plant with regular water for the first few weeks. I realized the mistake and switched to distilled water, but is there anything I should do to clean the plant or flush out hard water buildup?

    you should be okay, id recommend bottom watering only ( and letting the collected water sit) and switching out the water every few days :)
