After some trial and error with placement, my pitcher plant (Nepenthes ventrata) is finally giving me some pitchers. They are even catching insects which I was not expecting. What a treat! ✨🌿✨

    What kind of area did you put it? I haven’t 3 healthy plants but if the pitchers turn more than half brown, I cut them off. The foliage is out of control but none of them seem to produce new pitchers.

      I originally had it in an area with a lot of soft light. I moved it to my living room where I have some pretty large Southwest facing windows. It’s on a shelf between them so it gets bright, but indirect light now.

      Stop cutting them off and they’ll grow back 😊

      I’m only cutting them off once they brown more than 50%

    Wow the stems are so long on the pitchers. Mine are stubby but it's a sanguinea
