HELP! My Venus flytraps heads all died out of nowhere I had to cut them off will they be okay

    Could you explain what you mean by died? Like turned brown/yellow? I wouldn’t chop anything if its still green, even if part of the trap is dead. Looks like theres enough new growth for the plant to come back to life. If your flytrap took this quick of a turn I would evaluate your current set up. What does your care routine look like?

      One day all the traps started turning black

      Hmm sound like a problem with either lighting or watering (or both) if it was all of the traps that died. How do you water your flytrap? And how much sun does it get?

    Every 3 days I water and mist it

      3 days sound a little long, I would recommend switching your watering method to bottom watering. Set your flytrap in a dish of shallow water 24/7, this takes care of the watering need completely and ups the humidity enough as to where you no longer need to mist it.

      Are you sure its direct sunlight? Flytraps thrive in the light so bright that it almost seems it may burn the plants. Even bright indirect sunlight isn’t enough for them to thrive. If your window isnt bright enough, you can add a grow light to your set up. Natural light from the window + a grow light may solve your issue.

      They can survive and thrive without being fed. Were you feeding it before the traps died and how often and what were you feeding it if you were?
