    Personally I’d add more like up to the first line but there really isn’t a measurement like 1-2 inch is fine for it

    You want enough water so the soil stays moist (not super soggy). This can be very different from one persons home to another. Play around with what works best in your environment :) Check it everyday and figure out what your plant likes.
