Pete had his first meal that we watched! We got him a bug and placed it there. We tapped the bug down into the trap, it walked a bit and Pete snapped shut extremely fast! A bit of the wing is hanging out is that a problem? It is now hot enough for Pete to be outside all the time! Things are looking up! 🌱 (the wing hanging out is shown in the second photo on the closest trap)

0件のいいねI just bought a fly trap and I feel like I should repot it. It’s growing very well. How do you repot them without affecting the traps. I feel like I’d have to touch them to transplant them. Is there a trick?
いいね 1件 Unfortunately no. I recommend putting the pot upside down like normal and getting it out then just brush excess dirt off. If traps get triggered it’s okay, they will open again the next day since they didn’t get closed fully. Make sure the dirt it was in was Peat moss or you will have to brush it off the roots.
