Hiya! Im fairly new to carnivorous plants. I have a venus fly trap that is absolutely thriving and has a few flower stems about to pop. I've just noticed this in the soil and wondering if any clues what it could be and if I need to remove it from the pot. This is still in nursery pot and ive had for about 6months or more
Pretty sure it's just moss. I wouldn't remove it as it helps with moisture retention. Unless it really bothers you but it won't hurt anything.

좋아요 1개Yes, this looks like moss. My suuuper amateur guess is star moss. Moss coverage is super handy for keeping the soil moist, and I think it gives the pot such a nice look to be so green.
